This is the bike we’ve been using to test the new SRAM XX1 kit but it’s a pretty awesome looking machine in its own right. The Lapierre Spicy is a favourite with European all-mountain/enduro riders and some tweaks for 2013 – it’s longer, lower, slacker and stiffer – mean it’s now even more desirable than ever.
This is the cream of the crop – the top-end, carbon Spicy 916 model, though the spec bears almost no relation to the bike you can buy in the shops. As well as the 11-speed XX1 kit, it sports SRAM’s new X0 Trail brakes and a RockShox Reverb Stealth dropper post. Check out the pics below, and try to resist the temptation to reach for your wallet!
